Desert Flower Landscaping Wins Big at Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show 2025

Desert Flower Landscaping, Adelaide's landscape design specialists, is proud to be a key contributor to the award-winning ǝ'skāp Garden at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show (MIFGS) - Australia's biggest stage for landscape design and horticulture.

This award-winning project was a collaboration between Distinctive Gardens, Desert Flower Landscaping and Yergan Landscapes, bringing together some of the best in the industry to create something truly remarkable.

Adelaide Landscapers Take Out Best Garden in Show at MIFGS

We're thrilled to announce the ǝ'skāp Garden won three major awards at the 2025 Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show:

This recognition reflects the vision, collaboration, and dedication that went into every detail of the project - and the standard of landscape design our Adelaide-based team brings to every garden we build, from the Adelaide Hills to the metro suburbs.

Our MIFGS Journey - Representing South Australia on the National Stage

We're honoured to be the first South Australian landscaping collective to take on a challenge of this scale at MIFGS, representing our state's talent, craftsmanship, and passion for sustainable garden design on an international stage.

To bring this garden to life has been nothing short of incredible. We have been overwhelmed by the dedication, expertise, and generosity of those who have rallied behind this project. From concept to construction, it has taken an extraordinary team effort to push the boundaries of landscape design and showcase the very best of what we do.

Malcolm Berce brought the stunning freeform natural stonework in the firepit area to life, creating what became the garden's focal point. His expertise working with natural stone was invaluable in shaping this striking feature, and with its organic design, the firepit was one of the garden's standout drawcards for visitors.

Giving Back

After MIFGS wrapped up, we donated the garden's structure to the Little Heroes Foundation. Standout elements - including the steel framework and reflection pond - went under the hammer at the foundation's gala, with proceeds supporting childhood dementia research.
